What is the Money Library?

You should consider the Money Library to be your resource for all things financial. Have a question about mortgages? This is the place to ask. Want some ideas on how to save money, then this is where to find them!

The Money Library was started by our Head Researcher, Peita Diamantidis.

Peita always felt that people like herself in the finance sector used far too much jargon, however it wasn't until watching the media coverage of the GFC that it became clear that not only was there too much jargon, but in fact most people in the media didn't even understand what it all meant ... so how was the Australian public expected to?

"I wanted to cut through the gobbledy gook and get to the nuts and bolts of getting your money stuff sorted."

In fact when it comes down to it, much of the finance media coverage is headline grabbing distractions, designed to create fear. When it comes to sorting out your money, the facts are far simpler. However like any technical topic it can seem insurmountable to get to the bottom of it all.

In the old days, when we had to research a new topic we'd head to the library, and if we didn't know where to start we would ask the librarian!

So that is what the Money Library is for - to provide you with ideas & resources to learn enough about money and finance to get what we all wish for ... peace of mind.

And if there is a topic we haven't covered, then please let us know as we would be more than happy to do some digging!

One more thing ... if we throw in a few articles on fun stuff like food, wine and entertainment then please forgive us ... but the whole point of feeling relaxed about your finances is to feel free to get out and enjoy life!!!
